To view these photographs, simply click on the link at the beginning of the paragraph of interest below. You'll be taken to a group of thumbnails and then clicking on each of them will give you an enlarged version of that particular picture.

From the large picture, you can then scroll through all of the other large pictures .. it isn't necessary to return to the thumbnail page. You can scroll either by using the arrow keys on your keyboard or the arrows provided above the image.

These are not high resolution files so trying to make prints much larger than 4x6 isn't a good idea. If you want to make an enlargement of a particular picture, then just send me an e-mail telling me which one you want and I'll send the needed high resolution version (full file) back to you.

Enjoy !!

  1. Scenes from Cambria A selection of photos from the Cambria (Central Coast) area. Click here for the PDF slideshow file (6.1 MB).

  2. Alaska Cruise, August 2005 We just returned from our second cruise to Alaska where we had a wonderful time. The weather was usually pretty poor but that seemed to make no difference at all as we had seen the weather reports and were dressed for it. Lots of rain, but nothing heavy, and cool. We only had one sunny day but, fortunately, it was the day we were in Disenchantment Bay at the face of Hubbard Glacier so that was a treat. When you view these, please recognize that there are multiple pages of thumbnails so don't miss any.

  3. Favorite Sports Photos Some of my favorite sports photos. They're mostly of youth baseball or football, but there are a few from soccer and beach vollyball. Hope you enjoy them.

  4. Monument Valley and Antelope Canyon, 2006 I just returned from a trip to Monument Valley and Page, AZ with some other photographers. Our original plans also included a trip to the White Pocket area of the Paria Plateau near Page, but we didn't make it due to trail conditions. I selected a dozen photos of the two locations to post here.

  5. Canada and New England Cruise, Oct. 2008 We spent ten days cruising the Maritime Provinces of Canada and selected New England sites with friends, enjoying generally good fall weather. Lots of cool, even cold, days with a bit of wind and sometimes rain (but not too much). Prior to the cruise itself, we spent five days in Quebec City, enjoying both the Vieux Quartier as well as a bit of the surrounding countryside. Remember, click on the thumbnails to see the larger pictures and use the arrows to move forward or backwards.

  6. French Trip, May 2009 We spent three weeks in France, starting in Paris but then moving on to Bordeaux and Biarritz, where we mixed sightseeing with visits to old friends. The resulting photos, posted here, are a mix of those which are mostly of interest to our family and others which can be enjoyed by everyone. I apologize in advance for mixing them like this, but to try and target them to various audiences didn't seem to make any sense; so enjoy the ones you can and skip the ones (mostly people) which would mean nothing to you. Additionally, one of the highlights of our visit was a five-hour-long BBQ attended by some twenty-five or thirty ex-TRW employees, and photos of that event, obviously of interest only to TRW people, have already been posted on the TRWCE Bx website at http://www.trw-bordeaux.fr/.

  7. Christmas in Squaw Valley, Dec. 2009 We spent Christmas week in Squaw Valley with our entire family, all the kids and grandkids, celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. The weather was perfect. There was plenty of snow before we got there and then it snowed for a couple of days during the visit. Early mornings were normally 5F (-15C) or so and the daytime highs were around 32F (0C) with plenty of sun. Some went skiing, some went snowboarding, some played in the snow, and some just relaxed and enjoyed themselves. All of the kids who hadn't skied previously took lessons. We weren't joined together at the hip and everyone did their own thing, yet always together for dinner at the house, which was very large and accommodated all 21 of us nicely. Enjoy the photos and remember to click on the smaller thumbnails in order to see the larger pictures.

  8. France and Sweden, May 2011 We spent three weeks in France, primarily to attend the 40th anniversary reunion of the establishment of the TRW electronic component business in Bordeaux in early 1971. We arrived in Paris where we spent several days, then on to Gothenburg (Sweden); from Gothenburg we went back to Paris then down to Biarritz and last, but not least, a week in Bordeaux where we saw tons of old friends, both those from TRW as well as from other parts of our life in France. The resulting photos, posted here, are a mix of those which are mostly of interest to our family and others which can be enjoyed by everyone. As in 2009, I apologize in advance for mixing them like this, but to try and target them to various audiences didn't seem to make any sense; so enjoy the ones you can and skip the ones (mostly people) which would mean nothing to you. If you are particularly interested in photos of the TRWCE reunion, several have already been posted on the TRW website at http://www.trw-bordeaux.fr/.
